Summer 2025 Updates

 

Thank each of you for your continued support and involvement in our community.  Your participation, whether by attending meetings, offering feedback, or helping with small acts of kindness, makes a meaningful difference.

Over the past few months, we’ve made great progress on several fronts. We’re grateful to all the Volunteers who contribute their time and talents to these efforts (see updates from each subcommittee below). Let’s keep the momentum going! When we work together, we create a stronger, more vibrant community for everyone. On behalf of the 2025 Condo 2 Board, thank you for being an active part of that vision.

Beautification

The Beautification Subcommittee has been hard at work keeping our community vibrant and inviting! Members have begun collecting pots/containers for future planting projects and are collaborating with the CSA to clean and maintain the landscaped islands throughout Condo 2. Looking ahead, each island will be decorated for upcoming holidays to bring festive cheer to us all. Stay tuned for more seasonal sparkle!

 

Budget

The Budget Subcommittee continues to track finances and prepare monthly financial reports for the Board. We are proud to announce that all 2025 Condo 2 dues were collected by April! Thank you to everyone for your timely payments! We are also pleased to report that we remain well within our expense budget for the year.

 

Bylaws

The Bylaws Subcommittee Chairman has been diligently working on drafting the Rules and Regulations.  However, the condo officers have decided to pause this process in order to restate the Condo’s Declarations first. Since Condo VI shares many similarities with Condo 2, we’ve chosen to use their governing documents as a template moving forward. We hope to have a draft of the restated Declarations by mid-July so it can be included on the agenda for the upcoming meeting. This project will also be included in next year’s budget, and we are currently researching the associated costs.  

 

Communications

The Communications Subcommittee continues to expand our email list for official notice communications. Thank you to everyone who has completed the permission form (if you haven't already, sign up here!). Your support helps us keep the community informed and connected! Email allows us to deliver updates quickly and efficiently, so you get important information faster than traditional snail mail. We are also sending out occasional emails with Condo 2 news and updates, so be sure to keep an eye on your inbox.

 

Social

The Social Subcommittee has been busy planning fun and welcoming activities for our community!  Mark your calendars for the upcoming Ice Cream Social, happening right after the third quarterly meeting on August 27, 2025.  Don’t miss this sweet chance to mingle with neighbors. In addition, the subcommittee has been assembling and delivering welcome bags to help new residents feel right at home. So far this year, we’ve welcomed 21 new residents to our Condo. We’re excited to keep building connections and creating a warm, friendly atmosphere for all!
